Hagshaw Hill风电场重新发电 site is partly formed by the existing Hagshaw Hill 风 Farm (the Existing Development), 3.2km west of the village of Douglas in rural South Lanarkshire.
The Section 36 Application was consented by the Scottish Ministers on the 26th February 2020. The Determination Notice and 决定信 can be viewed here:
同意 has been granted for an electricity generation station comprising 14 wind turbines with a maximum blade tip height of 200 metres with a generating capacity around 80 megawatts (MW) and a battery storage facility of around 20MW.

The existing Hagshaw Hill 风 Farm is operational and comprises 26 wind turbines at 55m height to tip, and associated infrastructure with a total generating capacity of 15.6MW. Planning permission was granted by the then Clydesdale District Council in February 1995 and it was constructedthe same year to become 苏格兰's first commercial wind farm. The Hagshaw Hill 重新提供动力 project will therefore comprise the repowering and extension of the existing Hagshaw Hill 风 Farm.
The Section 36 Application was submitted in December 2018 to the Scottish Government.
